What should you look for in a property management company in Deland?

You should interview various companies and ask them how they would operate your property. Do they have experience in the Deland Area? Are they knowledgeable about the current real estate market conditions near where your rental property is located? What’s their policy on finding qualified tenants? How do they screen potential renters? What’s included in their lease agreement? What’s their fee structure?

O-REO Property Management has the answers to all of these questions and is eager to protect your property as if it were our own.

We realize that if a renter fails to maintain your property, the value of your home may go down. It’s not an option to have expensive repairs or to receive a selling price that is lower than what your house is worth.

Our O-REO staff assists you in ensuring that your home in Deland, Florida is properly maintained. The first step is to get a property ready for lease and clean and ready for occupancy. Setting the tone for the new tenant by showing them how much you care about the house will also set the stage for how they take care of it.

We inform the new tenants from the beginning that they may contact us at any time if problems arise. We make ourselves approachable, accessible, and proactive when issues emerge. This way, little difficulties never grow to be major ones.

How can i get the most rent possible out of my property in Deland?

O-REO Property Management strives to get the most rent possible out of each and every property we manage. We do this by marketing your rental to the largest pool of potential tenants using the latest technology.

We also screen all applicants rigorously using criminal, eviction, and credit checks to make sure you’re getting a quality tenant that will take care of your property.

Once we have a qualified tenant, we work with you to get the best possible lease agreement in place that will protect your interests and minimize the likelihood of any problems down the road.

All about Deland Florida:

Deland is a city in Volusia County, Florida, United States. The city’s population was 28,237 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Volusia County.

Deland is part of the Deltona–Daytona Beach–Ormond Beach metropolitan area; the city is 22 miles (35 km) northwest of Daytona Beach and 60 miles (97 km) northeast of Orlando.

The central portion of what would become Downtown DeLand was originally surveyed in 1857 by Joseph Rich, and named Richville. Six years later, the town was renamed to DeLand, in honor of its founder, Henry Addison DeLand.

DeLand established a public library in 1887. On February 2, 1892, Florida’s first state college for women only, Stetson University, was founded by Henry Addison DeLand. In 1922, the City of DeLand passed a resolution naming itself “The Athens of Florida” due to the large number of educational institutions located in the city, including Stetson University, DeLand Academy (the predecessor of Stetson Middle School), and John B. Stetson High School (the predecessor of Mainland High School).

Geographically, DeLand is located in an area known as the Atlantic coastal plain. This is a low-lying area with very sandy soils consisting of coquina rock and shell deposits which were left behind by waves and currents from the Atlantic Ocean. This is the primary reason that the city’s motto is “The Athens of Florida, The Yale of the South.”

The area was once heavily forested with Pine trees and other species, but has since been cleared for development. As of 2010, there were only two pockets of old growth forest remaining in DeLand. One is on the Stetson University campus near the Chaudoin Barn, and the other is near Skydive DeLand just west of town.

Real Estate in Deland
